With the combination of the pandemic and the tremendous increase in newly acquired puppies and dogs in the past two years, there has been a new focus on prevention of separation anxiety. In this webinar we will discuss the following:
- Prevention, optimization, and preparation for alone time
- The two buckets of alone time training
- A changing world and what impact that may have on separation-related behaviors in terms of resilience and bounce back

Unique Cases in Separation Anxiety
More than almost any other behavior issue, it is imperative that we look at separation anxiety as a study of one. Each and every dog is an individual and will present uniquely in their symptoms, will have different environmental influences, and even have distinctly different guardians. In this webinar we will discuss the nuances of cases and include the following:
- Seniors, noise-sensitive dogs, puppies, and dogs with multiple behavior issues
- The role of medical issues on separation-related behaviors
- Adjusting parameters based on the dog
